The very short version
We don't ask you to make an account, and we don't track who you are. We collect the minimum we need to keep our products working, and we never sell or share your data.
Who runs this
Wellbeing Tips is a trading name of Kensington Square Therapy Limited, a private company registered in England & Wales under company number 16707111. We are the data controller for this website and its sub-brands.
What we collect when you visit the site
We use privacy-friendly analytics that don't set cookies and don't identify you personally. The information we see is limited to: which pages were visited, what country (not city) the visit came from, what kind of device was used, and how the visitor got here.
We don't link this to a name, an email, or a profile. We can't even tell which visits came from the same person.
What we collect when you tap a character
Nothing. The thoughts you receive from Mootivation, Purrspective, or Wise Woofs are chosen on your device, in your browser. Tapping a character is not sent anywhere.
If you save a thought or turn on sound, that preference is stored locally in your browser using a feature called localStorage. It never leaves your device.
What we collect if you subscribe to quiet notes
Only your email address, given freely. We use it to send the occasional message when a new small wellbeing product is ready, a few times a year at most. You can unsubscribe with one click from any email. We never share or sell email addresses.
Our email is sent through a third-party email provider (currently we are setting this up). When we have one, we'll name it here. The provider stores your email on our behalf and is bound by GDPR.
What we collect if you write to us
If you email us at [email protected], we'll see your email address and the contents of your message. We keep these only as long as needed to reply, and we don't use them for anything else.
Cookies
This site doesn't set cookies. Our products don't either. Your browser may set technical cookies on its own to manage its own functions, but none of those come from us.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office. If you'd like to exercise any of these, please email [email protected].
Changes to this notice
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and post a note on the home page. We won't change anything in a way that quietly broadens what we collect.
